Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag official world premiere trailer is here

Assassin’s Creed III came and went without a bang and now, we’re visiting the Assassin’s Creed franchise once again. In this fourth installment, we are an assassin and a pirate.

Here is the story:

The year is 1715. Pirates rule the Caribbean and have established their own lawless Republic. Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag introduces Edward Kenway, a brash rebel Pirate Assassin. His fight for glory has earned him the respect of legends like Blackbeard, but also drawn him into the ancient war between Assassins and Templars, a war that may destroy everything the pirates have built. Take part in an incredible and seamless adventure. Discover the most diverse Assassin’s Creed world ever created. From Kingston to Nassau, explore 50 unique locations where you can live the life of a pirate. Become one of the most feared pirates in the West Indies. Stand amongst legendary names as you establish a lawless Republic in the Bahamas and relive the truly explosive events that defined the Golden Age of Piracy.

No Guybrush Threepwood there…

And here is the trailer:

Well, I’m excited… The things we see in this trailer and the text above implies a more open game with a bigger world and bigger level of freedom. It seems like we will be able to own house(s) and ships, modify and decorate them, dive underwater and seek treasures and sunken ships as well as ability to dual-wield weapons.

And the trailer had that distinctive Witcher-ish feeling with naked broads.

It seems like we all will move to the pirate Republic of the Carribbean once the game arrives on October 29th.
